"How To Get a $89 Furnace Safety Inspection For Only $59 Before Winter Arrives"

A furnace safety check may reduce some risks associated with a gas furnace leak or carbon monoxide poisoning. Having it thoroughly checked will increase safety and will offer peace of mind.

The Center of Disease Control reports that each year 400 Americans die from unintentional carbon monoxide poisoning and another 15,200 are sent to the hospital. Effective July 1, 2014 all homes in Prince George’s county must have 1 CO detector on each floor of the home. As a helpful tip make sure to check expiration dates on CO detectors and smoke detectors. Keep flammable items at least three feet away from the heating unit or any portable space heater. This includes items such as furniture, blankets, pillows, and any flammable products like paint thinners or gasoline.

Every year, even one year old furnaces break down at the worst, coldest or most dangerous time because they were not serviced early in the season.

If you notice your furnace having odors, fluttering burner flames, suspected compromised heat exchangers or other unusual activity you give us a call to perform a furnace check.

We can perform not only a visual inspection of the equipment, but also perform combustion analysis testings and high resolution imaging of the internals of the furnace.

We hope to offer peace of mind, but also helpful tips that may help keep you safe and comfortable this winter season.
